Howlong is a small country town situated halfway between Albury and Corowa / Rutherglen and the Murray River.
It has one of the best golf courses around, great fishing and is close to the Rutherglen Wine Region.

The area also has excellent shopping facilities with Albury-Wodonga being the major centre as well as providing many things to see and do. There are the tourist towns of Yackandandah, Chiltern and Beechworth. All are of historic interest with a National Trust listing and have many early buildings and fascinating craft galleries and antique shops in which to browse.

Howlong Caravan Park is nestled beside a shady branch of the Murray River, and is only a stones throw from the mighty Murray River itself. A short walk will take you to one of two river beaches both set within beautiful parkland with facilities, ideal for both fishing and picnicking.
